Custom Entertainment Center

This customer had a new home and wanted a custom built-in entertainment center in an upstairs bedroom. The project started by installing four 36" wide stock lower cabinets. Next, a filler was added to both the left and right sides of the lower cabinets to create a finished look. Then three 2" thick by 25" wide butcher block slabs were cut and installed onto the lower cabinets. The next step was building two 12" wide by 48" long bookcases, which were built off-site. They were then installed on top of the butcher block countertop. A 3 1/4" wide crown moulding was installed to add the finishing touch at the top. The final step was adding a shiplap wall feature between the two bookcases.
